Elena Currie is an experienced registered nurse with over 17 years’ experience in the aesthetic industry which spans private practice, commercial sales and clinical specialist roles. With a deep passion for advocacy and patient safety, Elena co-founded Aesthetic MET (AMET), the world’s 1st Aesthetic Medical Emergency Team. AMET provides registered aesthetic practitioners with accessible complication management and prevention support via a clinical outreach service as well as an online evidence-based education platform dedicated to safer practices. AMET’s vision is to help build a safer industry through collaborative, evidence-based practice that empowers practitioners and improves patient outcomes following complications.
