Elena Currie is an experienced registered nurse and Co-Founder of Aesthetic MET (AMET – www.aestheticmet.com) which is the first aesthetic medical emergency team. AMET supports health professionals with aesthetic complications through their clinical outreach expert team, as well as providing access to an independent, evidence-based educational platform dedicated to aesthetic safety and risk minimisation.

Elena regularly presents at conferences and is passionate about contributing towards research that is designed to promote safer practices by improving practitioner knowledge. Elena believes that the key to building a safer industry lies in collaborative, multidisciplinary learning that centres around patient safety.
