A/Prof Lindsay Wu is a Scientia Fellow at UNSW Sydney, where he leads a research group devoted to understanding the molecular biology of ageing. His expertise is in cellular metabolism and biochemistry, in particular the enzyme cofactor nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+), with key discoveries around the role of NAD+ deficiency as a reversible cause of age-related female infertility. He founded the startup Jumpstart Fertility, which aims to prolong the age of female fertility, and is currently preparing to enter clinical trials.
